We can't say enough about the diving and the wonderful DMs. We had Alex, Coralie, and sometimes Guja. They were tremendous. They took their time to help each diver no matter whether they had a camera or not. Boat staff was amazing along with the dive boats. The boats look a bit different but they are by far the easiest diving boats that we have experienced. Nitrox fills were very consistent along with the 70 minute plus dives. Make sure you take the time to do the HOUSE REEF! We even saw an eagle ray and a turtle right there, also a great school of large Jacks. The wall is right at the end of the pier.
Food was consistently good to great, awesome food displays. Great selections of liabiations along with a wonderful bar staff. The bar at the pier is amazing, more stars at night than we have ever seen.
We stayed on the north end, great breeze. Wonderful rooms, internet is slow but hey, you are very far from the mainland.
This is by far the best vacation that we have ever had. I guess if we had a complaint, it would be that wetsuits and booties don't dry all the way each night and can become smelly. We will be back!!!!
All the staff is very friendly and also for us, gay friendly. If you have the bucks, the villas are beautiful.

During that trip we met [Lorenz] and learned of [his] future plans and dreams for the resort, experienced the outstanding diving, saw first hand the beautiful reefs, marine life, savored the delicious food and enjoyed the exceptional service from your entire staff. As we left, we felt that Wakatobi was something special, a place very different from any other dive resort. Next time we would stay longer and hoped when we did return we would find the conditions at the resort as good or better.
Well, we returned for 17 days in October 2005. We were not disappointed. You have done an outstanding job increasing the capacity of the resort without harming the diving or service. The 20+ bungalows are very nicely situated. Each bungalow is a first rate accommodation. The addition of desalinated water for drinking and bathing, telephone and internet services are way and above what anyone would expect in this isolated area. The reef is alive and growing, better then 2002. The soft corals are denser, the colors more vibrate. There are more critters today than 2002 and many new critters we saw for the first time. There are bigger fish, more schools of larger fish, proof positive that your Marine Conservation and Community Development efforts are working. The dive operation has always been good, but it’s better now. The new larger boats make preparing for the dives and the entry into and out of the water much easier. The food, drink and toilet amenities on the boats and Nitrox are all positive changes. The personnel you have working the dive operation are outstanding. From the dive masters, to the boat captains, crew and the support people, filling tanks, carrying tanks, etc… are awesome. They are very professional and are there to help with anything you need, with a smile. The food, what can we say, WOW, the menu is great, the preparation is great and the service in the dining area is outstanding. We liked the many choices and variety in the menu. The personnel from the cooks, to all the kitchen support staff were great. When you finish the new kitchen and dining room it will be perfect.
Well, as you see we enjoyed our 17 days and look forward to our next Wakatobi Adventure. We thank you again for providing such a wonderful place for people to dive and for being such a good host. "
